Furthermore, the training will outline the implications of dyslexia within the Disability Discrimination Act, and proffer reasonable adjustments that managers can implement, including assistive technologies and strategy training that can benefit both the client and your business.
Assistive technology awareness workshop
We offer a 2-hour awareness workshop delivered at the centre or in your workplace. Working with clients, staff team and management we demonstrate, and teach how using assistive technology can overcome barriers of disability in the workplace. We provide training on the knowledge of mainstream assistive technology that can be accessed through government support but also the free assistive technology available on the market. Each participant will have the opportunity to try out the assistive technology for themselves.
